Started as Tulip Graphics in 1987, with facilities in both Berkeley and San Francisco, we were one of the early adopters of digital color imaging technologies in the country, and were one of the first digital color prepress houses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to the desktop publishing revolution, prepress operations were largely inefficient, wasteful, time consuming and produced toxic byproducts.

We relentlessly examine every part of our business to make it greener - from the large machinery to the seat covers in the bathroom. Printing presses produce a lot of heat. We only heat 10% of our facility and our breezy Richmond, CA location means no need for energy-hogging AC. We uncovered the windows and raised the ceilings to increase natural light and reduce overall energy usage. We have completely offset our energy usage with renewable energy credits from a local marine energy company.

Books and Booklets

Select from Saddle Stitched booklets, Wire-O Booklets or Perfect Bound books. We can print as few as 25 to as many as 5000. If you need a particular paper stock, a quantity or page count, or a product size that is not available on the order page, please submit your information on the Custom Quote tab, and we will get you an estimate within one working day.
