Services
Offset Printing
Offset printing produces high-resolution materials using inked plates and rubber blankets. Ideal for large-volume commercial prints, it offers superior color accuracy, cost-effective bulk production, and compatibility with diverse paper stocks for professional-grade results.
Digital Printing
Digital printing directly transfers digital files to media without plates. This technology enables quick turnaround times, affordable short runs, and variable data capabilities for personalized marketing materials, making it perfect for time-sensitive projects with unique recipient data.
Wide Format Printing
We create oversized graphics on materials like vinyl and foam board using specialized printers. Our wide-format solutions serve real estate signage, banners, and event displays with durable, weather-resistant finishes that maintain vibrancy for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Thermography
Thermography applies powdered resin to wet ink before heat treatment creates raised tactile effects. This cost-effective alternative to engraving produces elegant business cards, invitations, and stationery with dimensionality and professional texture at accessible price points.
Mailing Services
Our complete mailing solutions handle printing, addressing, sorting, and postage. Designed for marketing campaigns and organizational communications, these services ensure compliance with postal regulations while optimizing delivery timelines and cost-efficiency through bulk processing capabilities.

I grew up as the son of a printer, so I can tell good printing from bad. These guys really know what they are doing and run a very tight ship. All of my results with them were above expected quality, on time (often with only a few days notice given by me), and in one case, over quantity (they printed extra copies and essentially gave me the overage for free, despite me offering to pay for the extras).
This is a family owned and operated place. If you stop by the office, you will even get to greet the very friendly and adorable "shop dog". If you want either "real printing" (offset presses with plates and real ink) or commercial-quality digital printing, The Printer is your place in Davis. In fact, this may be the only offset printers left in Davis. There's something special about printing done the old fashioned and time-honored way. Something about the whir of the rollers, the thump of the feeders, and the smell of the ink. And my goodness, the quality is to die for.

The owner is so nice that he gives me a free pass since I only need to print a few pages of my stuff. I was on a rush so it really helps.
