In 1973, Cheryl and John Raifstanger, Jr. launched their company in the basement of the Mahaiwe Theatre in Great Barrington, MA. The equipment consisted solely of a second-hand press and an IBM typewriter. The self-taught entrepreneurial couple set type by night and ran the press by day, all while raising three children; Jodi, John III and Jay. In 2015, Cheryl and John, Jr. retired and passed the business on to their son, John III. As the next generation owner, John III has been instrumental in bringing Kwik Print into the newest and best of printing technology.
