The large number of photographs on this site, is a sampling of the work created in my long life with a camera and an intense interest in realizing the images in my mind's eye in the best media at hand. So this is, yes, a "portfolio" of my work. And, yes, it is an opportunity for me to sell my work in various forms and possibly get more commissions.
But, for me, at this stage of my life, it is a kind of memoir through photographs and encompasses an effort of many thousands of hours of lovingly (and sometimes, compulsively) working my photographs to make my mind's eye happy.

I write this after watching Carl Reiner and his ancient friends in If You're Not In the Obits. Eat Breakfast. At 74, I now feel like a kid again. Well mentally for sure. Bob is a lot about photography, music and the arts in general. About logic and reason and coming of age through the "Summer of Love" generation.
Growing up in Astoria, Queens, New York City, in the late 40s and early 50s, I had to cope with the "Blackboard Jungle" era, the street gangs and all kinds scary crap. But, mostly, I was able to find other odd ones out and have a pretty good time. My friends, Kenny, Joey, Donny and Pierre and I had some good times pitching pennies, playing cards and hanging out.
After more than four decades of building and photographing them, I have captured the stories in imagery of so many constructions, from places of worship, to offices, from homes to historic landmarks, from laboratories to parks and city landscapes and so much more. In this exhibition I will be showing a wide variety of the various types of architectural photography, and bits and pieces of the stories of these constructions. The images will, hopefully, show architecture and design of the built environment as the truly fine art that it is.
