In 1920, Pat Ness, a World War I veteran from the Canadian city of Victoria, British Columbia, got a job selling printing presses in Seattle, WA. On a visit to Portland, he sold a press to Laurence Stevens and his partner, who sold new and used law books, printed stationery and legal forms, catering to the legal profession.
Using our electronic legal forms is generally pretty simple, but there are a few things that must be in place to ensure you're successful. At this writing, the best way to use our electronic forms is on a laptop or desktop computer running Windows or Mac OS. We haven't yet done enough testing on mobile operating systems like Android or iOS to guarantee that our forms work successfully there.
Here is the most recent list of current Stevens-Ness forms. This list is updated regularly as new forms are created, older forms are eliminated, and others are revised as a result of legislative changes and other circumstances. Here is the current version of Washington Legal Blank Forms Catalog; it lists our Washington forms by category as well as alphabetically and numerically. Laser printers will generally produce the best results, but good-quality inkjet printers will usually do fine too. Our forms are one-color documents, so it's best if you set your printer to "black & white" or "grayscale" output. Your printer must be capable of printing to within a quarter-inch (0.25) of the page edge on all four sides.

Old school, full service stationary store. Focus is on legal documents and notorial supplies. This may be a niche market, but they serve it well. Excellent, highly knowledgeable staff.

I work at a Chiropractic office nearby and we had been using Office Depot for our supplies. I walked past one day and thought, why not use a local company? We've had nothing but great experiences with Stevens-Ness. Quick delivery, very helpful and friendly staff. I've ordered the wrong item on a few occasions and they have been very quick to assist me with refunding/swapping out the correct item. Highly recommend.

I was curious about a quote to update my business cards. Office depot had quoted me $69.00. I thought that might had been too much so I went to Stevens-Ness Law Publishing for a quote, last Tuesday. Today is Friday. They never got back to me. I called them today at about 3:25 pm. The woman said it would be too expensive to fulfill my request. Her price?

Over TWO-HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS, to put a picture of one my cakes on the front of the card, and my email address and facebook and instagram logos on the back. I repeat. Over TWO-HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. She suggested I try Vistaprint. I asked if that was why they never got back to me. She said they were short-handed and busy. I can't even count the number of times I've been in that store and was the only customer there.

For what I needed to have done, it should not have costed over TWO-HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. Office Depot is looking better and better. Reliability is very important to me; I had been waiting almost a week. Had I been informed promptly, I would have gone back to Office Depot to have my business cards by now or in progress.

Excellent Notary Public, at very decent prices. What a great little blast from the past - It's like walking into 1959.
