Very unprofessional and sleazy. I needed to send some important documents overnight immediately, and the post office was closed, so I went to Fasprint to FedEx overnight my documents. It costed close to $60, but due to the time sensitive nature of the documents, I bit the bullet and paid the $60. The next week I got a call from Fasprint telling me that my package was returned to them.

When I asked why it was returned the Fasprint worker unconcernedly said, "I don't know." So I went back to talk to Fasprint to find out what happened face to face. The woman working the front desk said she doesn't know why they were returned but to resend them I would have to pay them another $60 to cover the cost of the return shipment, and then another $60 to resend them.

So total I would have to pay them $180.00 to send one manilla envelope of documents. I asked, "How do I know it won't just be returned again, if you don't even know why it was returned in the first place." Again she answered with an unconcerned, "I don't know." So I just said, okay, just give me back my package and I'll take it somewhere else to send it.

She got angry and sternly told me -- as though I had somehow wronged Fasprint -- that she will not give me back my package until I pay them back for the cost of the return shipment. So I told her this was infuriating and unjust. An older lady who was sitting at the desk in the back, yelled at me that they didn't do anything wrong, and if I have a problem I should call FedEx's 1-800 number. So, still standing in the store where they were holding my documents hostage, I called FedEx's automated system, which asked for my tracking number, and the automated message told me that my package was delivered.

Obviously incorrect because the Fasprint lady was standing right there holding my package and refusing to give it to me unless I paid her $60 more. Beyond telling me to call FedEx's useless 1-800 number, the Fasprint ladies had absolutely nothing helpful to say beyond yelling at me that they did nothing wrong, and telling me to pay them $60 to get my documents back.

They couldn't (or wouldn't) even tell me anyone else I might talk to. I was now in a desperate situation with these important time-sensitive documents, which did not get where I paid for them to be sent, and were now over a week late. Because of my desperate situation with the documents, I again bit the bullet and paid another $60 to Fasprint to give me back the documents so I could take them to somewere other than FedEx to send them, and hope there would be some way to make it work out even with the documents arriving very late. So, in short, I paid Fasprint $120.00 and received absolutely no product or service of any kind in return, and my documents were now very late.

The Fasprint workers could not bring themselves to be at all apologetic or human about the situation, and ranged in attitude from unconcerned with this injustice to openly hostile to me, as though I did something wrong to them, as though they were the victims. I feel like Fasprint just grifted me out of $120, and they tried to grift me out of $180.

What they should have done, and what any decent business would have done in a situation like that, was when my package came back, they should have apologized to me for not delivering on what I paid them for, and then refunded my money. I would have been annoyed but understanding. Instead, they held my important documents hostage and used my desperate situation to get more money out of me. Such a sleazy business! I will never do business with them or FedEx ever again.

They have a website which describes quite a few products they offer. I have used them for basic printing and laminating. There is a self use copy machine available. They have been responsive to my email inquiries. Small place, but centrally located.

Vicki at Fastprint was wonderful! I had a rush print job and this company was extremely accommodating. The finished job was exactly what I needed, ready when they promised for a fair price. I highly recommend Fastprint and will use their services in the future.
