Embroidery Machines use commands to tell the needles where to go and what to do and the action of encoding these commands is called "Digitizing". Logos, designs, fonts and even texts must all be digitized before they can be embroidered. However the good news is that embroidery machines come with some fonts already embedded (Pre-Digitized) in them.
In Screen printing ( just like using stencils to print ) every color needs its own screen, this is the most economical way of printing high quantities especially when your image is in spot colors. Screen print ink which is called "Plastisol ink" requires up to 15 second drying time in 350 Deg. Fahrenheit.
DTG is the latest technology in fabric printing. It is printing an image directly onto a garment or fabric without needing any positive films, screens, set up, . The ECO friendly water based ink is printed directly onto fabric which results in exceptional "soft feel" print as well as offering more flexibility than screen-printing in terms of color variation, turn-around time (especially for smaller orders).

It's been great working with Brian and Miranda, their attention to detail and pride in their work is unmatched. The embroidery on the hats was especially outstanding. Although it took longer to make the hats than anticipated, they honored their original price. I highly recommend Candroy for embroidery and silk screen / direct-to-garment (DTG) printing for clothes.
